2000 Ford Windstar -
Having the bigger engine is great for pickup and driving in the mountains of North Carolina. Having all the power features at that time made for great, long vacation travel.
Story
traveling to pigeon forge through the great Smokey mountains, and all the views we had.
Pros
Automatic sliding side doors, power seats, removable seats for cargo, and automatic locking system.
Cons
No rear window deicer, no CD player, and no automatic rear door opener.

My paper route days were made in this van. I delivered all day and night. I had over 900 customers on a daily basis and they always knew it was me when they saw the "blue" van. Some people would just sit outside and wait for big blue. Besides the mailman, for some, I was all they were going to see that day and loved to wave or come up to the van and say hi. I miss the van, my customers and bel... (more)
