2016 Ford Transit Connect - Perfect fit for a large family
This year we purchased the Ford Transit 15-passenger van from a dealership in Eugene, OR, Kendall Ford. It has exceeded our expectations. We have 10 children, and this is the perfect solution to our needs.
Story
We recently went camping to Mt. St. Helens. We had a blast driving the Ford Transit Van to the campground and then onto the mountain. Lots of laughter and fun!
Pros
Firstly, the van has a V6 engine that is quiet, powerful, and fuel efficient. We get about 17 mpg on the highway and 15 mpg in town. The seats are very comfortable. It has a back-up camera that comes in handy with backing up such a large vehicle.
Cons
The top negative thing about this vehicle is how easy the seats stain. While we do put it to the test with our large family, the fabric tends to really attract the dirt!
2016 Ford Transit Connect -
I liked the appearance and the fact that it could seat 7 people. However, the way the seats folded when not in use was not practical and very unfavorable. Trim work in the vehicle fell off in my hand. I am fine with a minimalistic design but functions are nice.
Story
The trim work fell off in my daughter's hand as she tried to shut the door.
Pros
Seating capabilities, the back-up camera, and the driver's seat was comfortable.
Cons
Trim work falling off and the "ledge" that was created when you folded the seats down.
