2013 Ford Taurus - Solid and Dependable
I really like the feel of my Ford Taurus. I drove a Camry before, my Taurus feels heavier which I like quite a bit. I feel like I'm driving a real car. It has performed well for me, I have had no issues with the vehicle itself. It still runs great. It is also very spacious.
Story
When i was backing up out of my driveway, my sensor kept going off but i couldn't see anything behind me. Looked at the front camera screen and there was an adorable dog staring back at me. Not fun, but definitely memorable.
Pros
I love the way it drives. It is much weightier than my previous car and therefore feels much better to control. I also like the rearview camera and sensors. The cruise control works very well. I enjoy the SYNC controls - they are very easy to use for multimedia such as connecting my phone. Also very spacious interior and very roomy trunk space.
Cons
My only negative is gas mileage. I always feel like I'm back at the gas station filling up. This is the only negative thing about this vehicle. Compared to others, it is a guzzler.
2003 Ford Taurus - A reliable vehicle
Car runs perfectly well, even though it is above 100k miles. All parts are easily accessible in the car and can be replaced with little or no equipment. Parts are also cheap, even though I haven't had the need to replace any but one as mentioned above. It has enough leg room for tall people as well. I can drive pretty comfortably, despite being a relatively tall person. You can run it with any ethanol fuel.
Story
Carpooling with a friend for his first time in the car and him saying it runs above his expectations--those being that it is noisy and slow.
Pros
Drives smoothly, it is silent inside even when driving fast. Has enough horsepower (155hp) to accelerate quickly enough but not too quickly so the driver has enough time for reaction.
Cons
I've had only one minor issue with the car for the six months I've owned it, and it was easily fixed by myself.
