1997 Ford Taurus -
This was my first car and I am partial to Taruses. I loved my car until I couldn't pay for the repairs. I did have a lot of things go wrong with it but most of it was my fault. I drove that car to its death and I would do it again in a heartbeat.
Story
I was driving with a few of my friends and we were being sort of reckless. I ended up running over a curb and my tire blew. The guys had to help me change the tire so we could make the trip back home!
Pros
I loved the color, the way it drove, absolutely everything! It had cruise control and I used it all the time. It sped up quickly and drove smoothly.
Cons
I had this car in the shop every 3 months or so for repairs. Most of it was my fault though because I am very rough on cars. The worst thing was my transmission went out within the first 3 months. Luckily it was under warranty. I went though a lot of batteries as well and there were a lot of electrical errors that I learned to live with.
2009 Ford Taurus - Got what I need.
This car is the perfect cruising car, for either highway, or around town. It's great in weather, and it doesn't cost a lot to maintain. It might not be flashy, but it's got what I need. The trunk space is big enough to fit a full PA system, which is really impressive.
