1997 Ford Ranger - I love this truck and would recommend to a friend.
Overall, I have really enjoyed owning my Ford Ranger 1997 truck. I have owned it three years this month and have had very minimal fixes needing done over the course of owning the truck.
Story
My sister and I recently made a move to a new city, and the truck helped us move our furniture and boxes. Without my truck, we would have had to use a moving company or rent a U-Haul.
Pros
Some of my favorite things about my Ford Ranger is how small the truck is in comparison to other trucks. I like that it has a flat bed in the back to haul items, but I like that the truck is not bulky.
Cons
One of the major cons of the truck is the little gas mileage. I get about 17 mpg, which is not awful for a truck, but it's not as sufficient in savings as a car would be in fuel. Also, the noise of the truck can be a bit annoying at times, but it's not a deal breaker for me.
2003 Ford Ranger - Excellent, Dependable, Durable
This vehicle has been a godsend to my family and myself. It has passenger space for three people, as well as the bed of the truck being roomy enough for large furniture. However, it is a smaller truck and that causes issues in leg space and head room. Overall it is a very dependable and safe vehicle.

I had to pull a friend's truck out of a mud pit using mine.
Pros
My favorite feature is the fact that it is a truck, but it doesn't have horrible gas mileage. In addition to this, it also has enough horsepower in it's V-6 engine to do all of my heavy lifting and hauling when the need arises. It also looks extremely sharp, I love the way it's built. Ford uses high quality materials and they all contribute to it's exterior and interior beauty. It's a tough little truck and very dependable.
Cons
The only few negatives I can think of would be the lack of leg space, and the lack of head room. I am a larger man, and the ranger is a smaller truck. However, it does the job. The suspension creaks, and within the first few weeks of owning the truck the cab light went out, but these are mostly minor details.
