1996 Ford Ranger - A durable vehicle
I bought my Ranger new in 1996. I have had few problems with it. It still runs well and gets me where I'm going. It gets decent gas mileage for an older vehicle. It started off as being reliable, and it still is. The biggest problem I have with it is that it doesn't have enough seating. The middle seat is definitely more suited to a child than an adult, which effectively makes it a two-passenger vehicle. I can depend on getting where I'm going when I drive this vehicle. It was built to last.
Story
I took this vehicle when I went camping on Winding Stair Mountain. It handled the curvy roads and mountain terrain without any problems whatsoever. I drove all over those mountains and saw incredible scenery.
Pros
I like that it gets good gas mileage, runs well, and keeps on getting me where I'm going. The seats are still in great shape. The carpet is still in good condition. The engine has required only the maintenance you might expect from an older vehicle. I haven't yet had to replace the brake pads, and the brakes still work as well as they did when I got it.
Cons
The seating is cramped for more than two people. It is supposed to hold three passengers, but one of them had better be small, and even then the driver will feel cramped. There isn't a lot of room behind the seat unless the seat is put forward quite a bit.
2000 Ford Ranger - The vehicle gets the job done.
The vehicle is a great for a person's first time owning a truck. While the truck is small it gets exceptional gas mileage compared to other trucks. The truck is very basic but has well furnished interior. With the crew cab a person can provide transportation to two more individuals. This truck is perfect for someone who doesn't want a car but also doesn't a need a big truck as well.

Driving my truck across black ice and almost wrecking in Kansas City.
