The 95 Ford Ranger is a great little truck to get around town with. Or used as a small work truck on the job or on the farm. The V6 engine is powerful enough to tow quite a bit as well as handles bigger loads in the bed. While being able to get up to passing speed quickly on the highway. The truck is lightweight and really great on gas compared to other pick up trucks from this model year. The interior is very basic, yet provides everything you need in a work vehicle/basic transportation. Including a CD player and radio, A/C and heater, as well as power windows. The seats are manual, however. The bench seat is extremely comfortable and I've been on 10 plus hour road trips without any pain in my back. Storage space inside the cab is indeed rather limited, but big enough to fit a decent ... (more)
Story
Going up to Alta Lakes and stalling out on a steep switchback at 12k feet. Having to roll a mile back and flip the truck around while slamming on the gas to get going again and not get stuck in the middle of nowhere.
Pros
Gas mileage, transmission.
Cons
Too small.

Overall, I'd highly recommend a Ranger to anyone who is looking for a versatile, light-duty truck. These pickups remain popular in our area, and hold a good resale value.
Pros
The great thing about the Ford Ranger is that it is so dependable. It always starts, and has given us very few mechanical problems over the 20 years we have owned it. Because of it's small size, it is easy to drive around town and fits nicely in our garage. The bed is large enough to haul plenty of material: it's very handy for trips to the hardware store, flea market, or trash dump. The pickup handles well under load. There are two bucket seats in the rear of the cab that can fold up against the side walls. This makes the truck big enough for the driver and three passengers. When the b... (more)
Cons
The front seats could use better lumbar support; it's wise to bring a small pillow on long trips to support your back. The back seats are pretty small, and are best for children or petite adults. One drawback to the Ranger is that it lacks traction. It really slips around when the road is muddy, icy, or snowy. One solution is to add quite a bit of weight to the bed of the truck.
