This is a great truck that has passed the test of time. It has about 130,000 thousand miles and has not had any major problems. It is starting to develop some rust, but beside that the body is still in great shape. The abs sensors did need replaced once. It gets about 22 mpg. It has been a reliable daily commuter that always starts every morning.
Story
When away at college the freshmen build a large bonfire for homecoming. The sophomores try to steal the logs that the freshmen collect for the bonfire. My roommates and I used my truck to steal some of the logs the from the freshmen build site. however I got the truck stuck in the mud and had to use 4wd to get it out of the mud. We had a lot of fun taking part in the schools traditions.
Pros
The truck gets great gas mileage for its age. It has a nice interior and comfortable bucket seats. The interior has held up well for being so old. The truck provides a comfortable ride and handles well. Everything still works well. All of the electronics have held up and function perfectly.
Cons
The extended cab seats don't provide much room. Sometimes the transmission shifts a little rough. The fuel gage become somewhat unreliable when under a quarter tank. Does not handle well on snowy roads. Buttons on the steering wheel have cracked and busted due to age, but they still work great. The truck bed has been slowly rusting out at the joints and I will soon have to get work done on it as a result.

I purchased this vehicle over five years ago, and it has been the most reliable vehicle I have ever owned. Despite being as old as it is, it has held up incredibly well and does anything and everything I've needed to do as the owner of a truck. I'm frequently asked to help move friends across town or help get rid of yard waste, and it has performed perfectly for both of these tasks. Even more than just moving stuff around, I used to work out in the middle of nowhere which required driving down dirt logging truck roads for over half an hour each way. At first I was wary of how such a small, older truck would hold up but it did great! I never had it break down on me out in the middle of nowhere.
Story
Driving down dirt roads in a manual truck is one of the greatest feelings in the world.
Pros
This truck has been incredibly reliable. It has never broken down on me and stranded me out in the middle of nowhere. And it has fantastic mileage (especially with a manual transmission)!
Cons
As with any old car, the body does not hold up too well. The body has started to rust rather severely in several places, and the exhaust system has broken pipes a few times in the last couple of years. Also, the turn signal stalk has broken twice on me, which is rather annoying for such a small part, since it is rather expensive.
