2002 Ford Mustang - Beautiful metallic blue well graphic vehicle.
Nice deep blue with metallic paint and graphic pony down the bottom of the doors and back toward to the trunk. Also purchased very nice mustang seat covers. LX model with a 3.8 liter v6 motor that puts out about two hundred horsepower stock but has a chip that has boosted the powered up approximately fifty more horsepower than it had originally.
Story
First time I drove it I did not know it had a chip and the power was quite a surprise.
Pros
Strong motor for a V6. Really nice metallic blue paint.
Cons
Trunk fin is starting to oxidize a little.
2015 Ford Mustang - Outstanding
Great, breathtaking car. Makes me glad I own it everyday. Is an absolute joy to drive, and has been worth every penny I financed it for.
Well built for the most part, and no glaring build issues save for the one recall.
Story
First got in on the Interstate after I bought it. Was up to 85 before I knew it. Thankfully no cops around. And thankfully I know my car better than I did in the first few hours of ownership.
Pros
Great MPG ( 30+ MPG Highway)
The radar aided cruise control adds a nice margin of safety.
Ridiculously sexy looking car - have had it a year and still get a lot of positive comments about it.
Effortlessly cruises at highway speed. Has power when I need it.
Very little in the way of road noise.
Bells and whistles are actually useful. Between the aforementioned cruise control, there is a great sound system, satellite radio, and the backup camera and blind spot detection system. Those last two have been very useful.
Cons
Too easy to spin tires, with the gas pedal being touchy - which took a little time to get used to.
Recall on underbody temperatures was a pain to deal with.
Front skirt in car's nose can be a little flaky. Have to adjust back into position once every few weeks.
