It's plenty spacious (and even comfortable) for me, a 6'6" guy, which is really rare for a car that size. Also, I routinely get 40-42 mpg when driving outside of the city, and about 37 mpg in the city, which is outstanding. Note that I'm a pretty fast driver, making those numbers even more impressive. After 30k miles driven, it's still purring and I haven't had any real issues. As for downsides: the low-voltage battery died about 2.5 years in, which was probably a little quick. Also, it's probably a bit expensive for what the car provides. It's a completely basic car with a back-up camera, USB dongle, and a hybrid battery...so a 30k+ retail price feels a bit high.
Story
One time I went fishing with my dad in North Carolina, and we decided to take my car. It hadn't rained in a few days, so we figured it would be okay. Well, we had to drive about a mile down a dirt path to get to the water, and the ground started looking more and more suspect. Of course, we eventually got stuck maybe 100 yards from the water. Who would have thought a two-wheel drive sedan was a... (more)
Pros
Very spacious, great fuel efficiency, back-up camera, smartphone compatible, USB charger, relatively fast and sporty, comfortable seats.
Cons
Horn is awkward to press, and the dashboard isn't quite as high-tech as I would like. The front, the spoiler, as well as the rear-window are poorly designed in that they are almost impossible to clean well. Also probably a little too expensive for what the car provides.

This vehicle is the most technologically advanced machine I have ever operated. It uses a mix of gas and electric engines for power, and transitions seamlessly between the two. The absolute only thing I disliked was the interior paneling. The barriers of the front windshield are a tad thick, making full visibility a little difficult. It just takes a little getting used to.
Story
I took this car to Hiawatha National Park for a wedding last summer. The trip from Indiana to Michigan was 900 miles, and I only had to fill my gas tank once! That saved me quite a bit of money that weekend.
Pros
I love the fuel efficiency of this vehicle. On a normal day, it gets 44mpg. That alone is a fantastic reason to buy the car. Even better, if a driver is conscious of when the car switches from electric engine to gas, they can manipulate the output so as to get even better miles per gallon. At my peak, I was pushing 50mpg. Another cool aspect is the exterior design. The engineers at Ford took some inspiration from Aston Martin, and it totally paid off. This creates a new but familiar look that middle class consumers cannot normally afford.
Cons
The car sits a little too low to the ground for my taste. I have scraped the front bumper on inclines and declines ever since purchasing it. But that only happens when I'm making a turn while on a slope. The amount of visibility through the front windshield is annoying sometimes. This is caused by the interior paneling; they're too thick. I find myself tilting my head just to see around them at times. It could lead to an accident if the driver isn't paying their full attention to the road.
