2015 Ford Fusion -
I purchased this car about four months ago. I upgraded from a compact car, and I absolutely love it! There are far more "pros" than "cons"! This car is so spacious, but it does not drive like it! Both front seats are electric so it's easy for anyone to move to allow space for all passengers. The drive is so smooth. The turn radius is still small like a compact car. Sometimes when you get into bigger vehicles, they become harder to control. That is not so with this one! The radio, air conditioning system, navigation, and sync system that works with your smartphone are phenomenal. They can all be controlled from the steering wheel. This is so helpful for the driver. It's all right where you need it to be, and it's easy to understand and navigate. The notification system really gets your attention if something is wrong. The beeps come through the speakers of the sound system. Even if you are listening to music or talking on the sync system, the beeps will be heard to alert you to anything that could be potentially dangerous. The biggest problem I have with this car is the amount of time it takes everything to "wake up" when you first crank the car. It takes a full minute for the air conditioning, radio, and lights to come on. At night, it would be far more helpful for the lights to immediately come on, and in the heat of Texas summer, that extra minute of extreme heat is very uncomfortable. I have two dogs that each weigh 50 pounds. This car is spacious enough for both of them to stand, sit, or lay comfortably for long trips. This is especially important during the holidays when there is a lot of traveling and hauling merchandise to and from home. Overall, this car is a great fit for me and my family.
I have two dogs who each weigh 50 pounds. One is very short and it is hard for her to get in and out of vehicles sometimes. The back seat of this car has some extra room around it, and it makes a sort of "step" for her! She immediately discovered this and has never had a single problem getting in or out of this car. I love the sync phone system! So easy to use and very handy when your attention should be focused on driving.
The spacious back seat and electric front seats are phenomenal for accommodating all sorts of guests, animal or human!
The drive is fantastic. Hardly any road noise, and NO engine noise.

The amount of time is takes for the different applications to "wake up" when you first crank the car is somewhat unsettling. The lights, air conditioning and radio should all immediately wake up when the car is cranked.
The doors automatically unlock when you turn off the engine. This is not always safe for the consumer. I don't always want all my doors unlocked when I turn off the engine.

2013 Ford Fusion - Nice features from Ford
The Ford Fusion is a comfortable car. It comes with many standard options. Although it is more expensive than its competition, you get a lot for your money. Satellite radio is standard. A seven speed automatic gear box is also standard. There are many input connections for phones and other devices. The gas mileage is good. There is plenty of power from the V6. There is ample leg room. That is true for both the front and the backseats. The trunk is average size for a midsize car. It is styled similar to many other cars in its class. So far the Ford Fusion has been very reliable. The acceleration is surprisingly good as well. The transmission does get a little confused at times. This happens at lower speeds and in heavy traffic. You can link your cell phone with this, but is more annoying than helpful. If you are listening to the radio, a phone call will come over the speakers and can be annoying while driving. This could also be dangerous as there is non easy way to ignore a call using the stereo or steering wheel controls. The easiest way to ignore a call is using your cell phone itself. This can be distracting while driving. It can also cause you to miss part of any radio program or song you are listening to. I would recommend the Ford Fusion, just do not link your cell phone via Bluetooth.

The interior is well trimmed for an American car. The price is more than you would pay for similar cars but Ford has a good reputation for quality and reliability. This is a good family sedan. It also works as a sports sedan. There is no sunroof on the SE model. This would be a nice feature. The power seats are also heated. This is a nice feature on cold winter mornings. The stereo has a Bluetooth link.

It seems as if the transmission cannot decide which gear is best for the situation. It could be that it has too many gears to choose from. This is really the only complaint that I have. A 5 speed automatic transmission would have worked better in my opinion. When you decelerate and then need to accelerate again, the transmission will bog down. Sometimes it skips 2nd gear and goes from 1st to 3rd. This is not a problem for highway driving. The problem is most prevalent in city driving situations.

2011 Ford Fusion - Excellent Car
I work 911 and carry a LOT of equipment with me. However, I don't like it to be all over the seating area of the car, so I keep it in the rather spacious trunk space and still have room for groceries. The seating can accommodate my 6'1" son and I can adjust the drivers seat to accommodate my bad back. I've only had to replace one or two things under the hood that were covered by warranty, and it still runs like brand new (I bought it in 2010). I can easily pack for a week long vacation with my two kids and still have room for the family dog. The sun roof is an amazing feature, as well as SYNC powered by Microsoft. I don't know how I ever lived without that.

The car is an excellent sedan but drives and feels like a sports car. It has a sporty but classy look, drives easy, low maintenance (I'm still on the original tires with great tread, and still on the original battery), and high style. Overall, great car. I've looked at newer models, but I don't think I'll ever give up my fusion.
The car is very practical both economically and financially. Its good on gas ($40 to fill it up with 418 miles to empty), gets about 20 mpg, When the warranty ran out, NOTHING went wrong with the car. Its great for a single professional or a family, providing style, class and comfort all in one mid-sized sedan. Its not too big or too small.
I taught my oldest son to drive in this car. He learned how to handle turns and learned that although its a stylish sedan, it can handle like a sports car
