I purchased this car about four months ago. I upgraded from a compact car, and I absolutely love it! There are far more "pros" than "cons"! This car is so spacious, but it does not drive like it! Both front seats are electric so it's easy for anyone to move to allow space for all passengers. The drive is so smooth. The turn radius is still small like a compact car. Sometimes when you get into bigger vehicles, they become harder to control. That is not so with this one! The radio, air conditioning system, navigation, and sync system that works with your smartphone are phenomenal. They can all be controlled from the steering wheel. This is so helpful for the driver. It's all right where you need it to be, and it's easy to understand and navigate. The notification system really gets your ... (more)
Story
I have two dogs who each weigh 50 pounds. One is very short and it is hard for her to get in and out of vehicles sometimes. The back seat of this car has some extra room around it, and it makes a sort of "step" for her! She immediately discovered this and has never had a single problem getting in or out of this car. It made me smile that there was an unintended advantage to me buying this part... (more)
Pros
I love the sync phone system! So easy to use and very handy when your attention should be focused on driving. The spacious back seat and electric front seats are phenomenal for accommodating all sorts of guests, animal or human! The drive is fantastic. Hardly any road noise, and NO engine noise.
Cons
The amount of time is takes for the different applications to "wake up" when you first crank the car is somewhat unsettling. The lights, air conditioning and radio should all immediately wake up when the car is cranked. The doors automatically unlock when you turn off the engine. This is not always safe for the consumer. I don't always want all my doors unlocked when I turn off the engine.

The Ford Fusion is a comfortable car. It comes with many standard options. Although it is more expensive than its competition, you get a lot for your money. Satellite radio is standard. A seven speed automatic gear box is also standard. There are many input connections for phones and other devices. The gas mileage is good. There is plenty of power from the V6. There is ample leg room. That is true for both the front and the backseats. The trunk is average size for a midsize car. It is styled similar to many other cars in its class. So far the Ford Fusion has been very reliable. The acceleration is surprisingly good as well. The transmission does get a little confused at times. This happens at lower speeds and in heavy traffic. You can link your cell phone with this, but is more annoyi... (more)

Running errands with my friend
Pros
The interior is well trimmed for an American car. The price is more than you would pay for similar cars but Ford has a good reputation for quality and reliability. This is a good family sedan. It also works as a sports sedan. There is no sunroof on the SE model. This would be a nice feature. The power seats are also heated. This is a nice feature on cold winter mornings. The stereo has a Bluetooth link.
Cons
It seems as if the transmission cannot decide which gear is best for the situation. It could be that it has too many gears to choose from. This is really the only complaint that I have. A 5 speed automatic transmission would have worked better in my opinion. When you decelerate and then need to accelerate again, the transmission will bog down. Sometimes it skips 2nd gear and goes from 1st to 3rd. This is not a problem for highway driving. The problem is most prevalent in city driving situations.

2016 Ford Fusion - Unexpected power.

This car is sleek. Walking around it from the outside the lines and curves are pleasing. It has a deceptively large interior and is very fun to drive. Careful though in the first week of owning it I spun out the tires because I floored it and its large engine despite is size spun the tires.
Story
My wife and I took our yearly solo trip when I first bought this car. We were going to Colorado so we had a very long drive ahead of us. Normally I can't sit still because I'm tall so usually uncomfortable this was not the case in this car. I turned on the free trial of the Sirius radio installed in the car and wow we enjoyed that we found one station that was on the entire week and a half tri... (more)
Pros
It has a very large interior can ride three to four in the backseat easily. The car's trunk is very large. I have yet to have a major problem with anything that falls into the day to day carry 5 times, and if you need to carry something long, pop down the back seats and push the front passenger seat down.
Cons
Its very large it fills my garage space from front to back with almost no space remaining I was not careful once and my door hit the back. You cannot really change the radio, to many of the cars features are tied into the radio ford does make another radio but its 10,000 so not worth it. Don't loose the keys because ford charges 150 for a new one.
