This car drives really well. I have packed it full, literally trunk and back seat so high that I can't even see out my rear view mirror. And then driven it through switchbacks through the mountains with high wind gusts, past huge trucks with a wind draw underneath their trucks. And this car, damn it holds the road even with these conditions and going 65mph. It's awesome. I've gone through 100 degree+ with the A/C and radio on and it hasn't overheated. It always starts right away and whenever I need an oil/filter change every 5,000 miles, the little orange "maintenance required" light comes on about 250 before I need to go in to the shop. This car is the perfect height and as someone who stands at 5'10," that's saying a lot for a compact, 4-door car. Oh did I mention the turn radius? I ... (more)
Story
Driving through the mountains, unable to see through my back windshield, with huge wind gusts and 18-wheelers (did I mention there was also a slight drizzle from the fog?) and getting almost knocked about by it. I was gripping the wheel really tight and afterwards I took a much needed break when I hit the Arizona border and filled up on their 30 cents cheaper gas.
Pros
One great thing about this vehicle is the amount of room. I mean I can fit four passengers comfortably, five if they're all really thin. There's also not a ton of cup holders. I know a lot of women, that's their main thing for cars but my main thing is less cupholders. I'm a simple person and I like a simple car; this car is very simple. It's got 2 cup holders in the front for drinks, and on the side door panel its got room for things like road maps, but also has a small indentation for a larger drink. But it's built in to the side panel so it doesn't take away room or add an stupid extra ... (more)
Cons
It didn't come with a cigarette lighter. Now I know that's not a big deal; I don't smoke, most people don't. But there's been an occasion where I've needed fire and couldn't get it, and that really sucked. Also, my car is white with beige interior. Not the most appealing. At all. I would prefer like grey, or black, or even dark blue or green but no, it's white with beige interior. I think they should never ever make those colors an option unless specifically pre-ordered and pre-paid. I don't like how, in order to check on things in the car, like the oil or other liquids, its at the bottom ... (more)

We selected this car as my wife's primary vehicle. She selected it because of the perceived quality of the tech within the car (Ford Sync system by Microsoft). What a crock! The tech system is barely functional, the GPS is not able to locate our home so it's very hard to use the navigation system. This is not limited to our car as we (after we purchased and updated the maps), tried to locate our home on six other sync system enabled Fords. The fuel injection is also a piece of crap. At low speeds the car shakes as it's not getting sufficient fuel to idle property. The service people say it's the computer system in the car which is used to my wife's driving, not mine. Yeah right...
Story
This would be more about the dealership than the car. We got a number of offers to entice us to use the dealer's service bay. I had to educate the cashier on what the coupon offered since the marketing group never speaks to the service department.
Pros
Good things about the car would include the fit and finish. We purchased the model with the Titanium trim package and the package is well worth the price. In the almost three years we have had the car, I'm impressed with the way it comes together and continues to look pretty good.
Cons
In addition to the issues with the tech and the fuel injection, the car is just too small. Now that we have car seats in the rear seat (for our grandkids) it is almost impossible for a passenger to sit in the front seat. I'm 5' 7" and my knees are pushed into the front dash. If we ever got into a minor accident, I'm sure I would have major injuries to my knees and have to be hospitalized.
