2016 Ford Focus - Great road trip car.
This car was a good value for the money. I really like the Ford Sync system and how easily it connects to Android Auto for road trips. I think the fuel economy is fairly good (I get about 29 MPG) though some other cars in the same class were rated a bit higher. The interior is very comfortable, however the downside is that it's really lacking in internal storage areas like the center console.
Story
I take the car out for hiking trips often and the roomy hatchback is a great place to store gear and dirty hiking boots after a trip.
Pros
Leather interior, value for the money, Ford Sync system, auto headlights, interior mood lighting.
Cons
Small center console for storage, slightly lower MPG than other cars I compared, no CV transmission available.
2011 Ford Focus - Focus is the way to go.
I like that my car is reliable. I have had to make few repairs and know my car will always start with ease. I like that I don't have to worry about my car not performing. My only dislike is that the look isn't sport enough, but it is not a big deal. It is a quality car with little to not like.
Story
I took it to a cave system and the small size allowed me to get to unique spots.
Pros
My favorite features are my sunroof, the ability to have work done at a dealership, I enjoy the electric dash controls, I enjoy the color, and I enjoy the compact size.
Cons
The negative aspects include a non sporty look, the commonness of the vehicle, and the lack of storage space if one did need to load a big item.
