We financed our vehicle at only 20,000 miles in. The the first four years of obtaining the vehicle the only maintenance we needed done was regular checkups, tune ups, oil change and the horn needed to be replaced. Outside of that our Ford Focus cruised from Texas, to Michigan to Florida and back several times. However, recently there have been a few more attention needing repairs. For example, the gas knob and tube needed replacing. Also all of the engine bolts needed replacing as well. We ended up later learning this is a very common problem with this year model.
Story
One fun memorable story I have is picking up a friend from the airport coming back from their deployment. The flight was delayed and airport parking lot was empty so we jumped on top of the hood and "planked" while taking pictures. After that we realized all of her stuff could not fit in the car, so we pulled the seats up all the way stuffed everything in and very tightly drove to our destinat... (more)
Pros
The top positive things I enjoy about the 2007 Focus is the gas mileage. Being that at the time my wife was in the military we often traveled back home and the ford was great on gas. Even when our tires were bad gas was still good! The next best thing about the focus is the external size, fitting in compact parking spaces and often being able to squeeze by vehicles with no problem. And the third best quality is repair cost, for the most part repairs are affordable.
Cons
One of the top negative things about the Ford Focus is the size of the vehicle in matters of space. Although the truck is pretty spacious if you plan on having a car seat in the back then there isn't much leg room. Outside of space there really aren't too many cons.

I love my Ford Focus. This vehicle is basically bare bones. Cloth upholstery and hand crank windows. It runs like a top and gets great gas mileage. Most of my previous vehicles were Cadillacs and the Focus is much smaller, but still provides a good amount of interior space. It is much easier to park than my past vehicles. Outside of regular maintenance (i.e. oil change, replace tires) the only thing I have had to replace is the battery.
Story
My passion in life is sailing on cruise ships. One memorable ride was the drive from my home to the port of Miami to board the Costa Atlantica. My father was the driver and I gave him the wrong directions in downtown Miami sending him down a one way street going in the wrong direction. The traffic stopped around us and thanks to the compact size of the Focus we were able do a quick 3-point Y t... (more)
Pros
I like the fact that it has hand crank windows. I live in Florida and rarely roll them down as I am usually running the A/C which is excellent in this car. Very cold air that cools quickly even in very hot temperatures. Also, all of my past vehicles needed to have the window motors replaced even when I didn't roll them up and down. The labor and parts cost for these can add up quickly.
Cons
There are really very few things that I would consider negatives about this particular car. If I had to name some I guess it would be the lack of leather upholstery, which is available in the more expensive model. Also, the dashboard area always looks dirty or dusty even after it has been cleaned. I almost forgot, this vehicle is somewhat noisy. It doesn't have that quiet interior of a luxury car, but it is much easier on the wallet.

They had the vehicle I wanted in the color that I wanted in stock. The sales staff was friendly and not overly confronting.
