2008 Ford Focus - It is a very good car.
Overall, I am very happy with my car. It preforms very well and is great for traveling and going back and forth between cities. The car drives really smoothly and is not rough to drive. It does have some issues in the winter time with noises like near the dashboard.
Story
When my dad and I took my grandmother for a trip around Canandaigua Lake with my car. It was the start of spring and a very beautiful day.
Pros
It drives very smoothly. I like the fact that it comes with Bluetooth, so I can sync my phone to listen to music. The breaks are good. You don't need a lot of pressure to stop, but it is not overly sensitive as well.
Cons
In the winter time, there is a rattle near the glass near the dashboard that only happens when it cold, and it can be a little annoying having to repair the heat shield on the car that usually does not happen.
2010 Ford Focus - Good starter car
Great little car for a teenager to start with. This car handles great, lasts a long time, and is safe. The coupe body gives it a sporty look and the bright color is very visually appealing. The car also gets great gas mileage, which is perfect for a young driver looking to save money. Despite the small body size, the trunk is large and perfect for hauling a lot of things. On the con side, the backseats of the car are small and difficult to get into, as it is a two-door car. The doors are also quite large and easy to hit on parked cars.
Story
This car was perfect for bringing all of my friends to and from rowing practice in college in Easton, Pennsylvania. It fit everyone easily!
Pros
Great gas mileage (30+ miles per gallon). Sporty style. Large trunk. Good handling. Long life - never had any maintenance issues.
Cons
Small size inside car - backseats are small. Small size in body of car - feels tiny on the freeway. Large doors make it easy to hit nearby parked cars when opened.
