The biggest issue that this car has is where the battery is located. It is difficult to get to and connect jumper cables. Has also had an issue once that a cable came loose and had trouble starting because of it. It was hard to diagnose because it is hard to see into the battery compartment.

On acceleration this car is just too weak. It constantly causes me to worry that something may even be wrong with my car. The small engine just cannot take off like similarly sized vehicles. It leaves a lot to be desired. It also sometimes sounds like you are pushing it a bit too hard too often when trying to accelerate at a decent speed. The engine is a hybrid; it is basically like a manual engine but made as an automatic with computer software handling the shifting of gears, and it drives like a manual. I feel like Ford could have done more to educate consumers on the engine. Not a lot of head room in the front seats and not a lot of leg room in the back seats.
