2014 Ford Focus - Solid car except for the buggy entertainment system and horrible automatic transmission

The styling of the car is very sleek. There are quite a number of features you would expect in a more expensive car. The internal trim seems to be robust and reliable. In most situations it is responsive and fun to drive. There are some issues with the transmission and entertainment system that can be irritating and distract from the overall enjoyment of the car.

We have fun with the voice sync picking songs based on the road we are taking
Pros
I enjoy the feel of it on the road. Once it is going it feels like it enjoys running. The interior is a little bit like sitting down and having the car wrap around you and asking what you want it to do. The electronics package adjustments are close at hand which minimizes the amount of time you might spend without both hands on the wheel. The exterior is sleek and looks like it means business.
Cons
The automatic transmission is horrible. It can be very jerky when starting out. When getting started it can border on uncomfortable as it jerks and decides how to shift through the gears. The Sync package seems to be buggy and inconsistent with how it recognizes voice commands. There are a couple quirks I think would be included in voice command but require buttons be pushed. Switching the radio between AM and FM is one of those. It often does not recognize when a USB device is connected unless you turn off and restart the car.

The car does move quickly, but there is a known problem with Ford Focuses and the transmission failing. The car would be great car if there wasn't so many mechanical problems.
Story
I like to use my car to drive and "race" other cars. One time I went into the mountains and there was this boosted truck, and we did a little race. Since the car moves quick, I won.
Pros
The car is quick, looks cool. It is also known as the safest car for that year.
Cons
The transmission randomly failing and mechanical problems.

My experience started out pretty good. The staff was friendly and helpful. Once we started talking about the price, they refused to work with me at all on a used vehicle that was priced $2,000 higher than a new one.
