I bought this car used as I do all of my vehicles. I've been very satisfied with it. It is roomy enough to accommodate the things I carry around and has a good mileage rating. It has proven to be reliable and has had no maintenance costs, other than routine upkeep, such as oil changes. It had very low mileage when I bought it, so I expect to get another five or six years of use out of it. This brings my cost for transportation down to only $500 a year.
Story
I like this car when it's snowing and slippery out. I have never had to put on chains to get from here to there. I even tried to get it to slide around this past winter. People probably thought that I was drunk since I went down the road hitting the brakes and jerking the wheel back and forth.
Pros
I like the fact that the doors are self locking when the transmission gets put into drive. The seats are comfortable enough to allow for many hours of driving without causing any undue discomfort. The windows are electric, which is nice and the air-conditioner works surprisingly well keeping me cool on even the hottest days. It has good mileage, which is one of the factors I always use when car shopping.
Cons
It developed a few quirky problems shortly after I bought it. They weren't hard to fix or expensive, but they were definitely head scratching. If you have to add air conditioning coolant, the intake spout is located within the passenger front wheel well. Not the most conventional spot for access. I also don't care much for the instrument panel displays. Nothing serious, just a pet peeve of mine.

I like my Focus because it is good on gas. It is easy to drive and doesn't take a lot of effort to get to where I'm going. It serves my purpose well in almost anything I have to do. It has been a go getter hardly ever letting me down. Even when I thought it was getting old enough to give up it keeps going. It is a good looking car for the price point. I felt like I got the quality that many others pay a lot more money for. I have had to do very few repairs and the majority were minor repairs I could do myself with out paying out so much to mechanics. When I did need a mechanic the replacement parts and labor wasn't too terribly bad. The ride is ok maybe not as good as a luxury car, but for the price it is acceptable. Story
The car is so spacious that my son bought a 5 foot tall Santa at a yard sale. I told him it wouldn't fit but it did easily even though Santa's head had to poke through between the front seats.
Pros
Longevity, spaciousness, comfortable easy to drive, easy to maintain.
Cons
Component failure.
