2012 Ford Focus - Great value.
This car has been very reliable for our family. It has over 100,000 miles and has had no major issues. The Focus drives well, turning easily and making the miles comfortable. The gas mileage is pretty good, my most recent tank averaged 39 miles per gallon, which is more than I expected when I bought the car. It is an affordable car and is worth every penny plus more.
Story
One time my daughter and I were out for a run and it started pouring so we sprinted back to the car and turned up the heat to dry out and laughed at our misfortune.
Pros
The Focus is comfortable for our family of four including two car seats and the ride is smooth and responsive. The Focus seems larger than it is because it is designed well. The trunk is surprisingly roomy for a car of this size, and it hauls our double jogging stroller without a problem.
Cons
One of the negatives of the Focus is the transmission. Although it works fine, the shifting is sometimes not the smoothest and can feel choppy. This isn't a huge deal to me, but some people might be more bothered by it. The other negative I can think of is the Sync system. It often can't read my music from my phone and it doesn't work as seamlessly as I'd like all the time. Again, this isn't a big deal to me, but is sometimes frustrating to me.
2012 Ford Focus - Reliable, cost-effective vehicle.
The vehicle performs well. It accelerates quickly and the breaks have been reliable for almost 60,000 miles. The only issue I've had has been the transmission, but it was a recall that Ford took care of quickly.
Story
This was my first car, so I feel very emotionally attached to it. I remember the day I got the car, and I just drove around everywhere because I was so excited to have my own car.
Pros
This vehicle gets great gas mileage and it is relatively inexpensive to fill up the tank. It is cozy and sporty-looking. It also is less expensive than similar models.
Cons
Because of its size, it doesn't drive well in bad weather. It also come in quite as luxurious options as I would like. I definitely would not recommend this for driving multiple people, since the back seat is very small.
