The build quality is fantastic. The raised-up kit is done very well. The extended cab and extended bed give you so much room everywhere you need it. A full-grown man can sit comfortably in the back seats without fuss. Nobody is sitting on top of each other. You can actually fit a bicycle or a full sheet of plywood in the back. The interior is nice, and the air conditioning is fantastic. Rides smooth. For almost 100,000 miles, you'd never know it. Climbs hills like a beast.
Story
So it's huge, which means if you aren't so confident, getting in and out of tight spaces can be an adventure. Be patient when going around tight corners, you will have to do it more than three times.
Pros
This truck is huge. You always get right of way! You can fit anything you want inside and/or outside the vehicle. There is no climb too steep. You can get through deep water and maintain so much traction. It's heavy so you don't get stuck in the snow or sand if you know what you're doing. Can carry so many things so you don't need to make multiple trips. You can really fit full grown adults in the back seat comfortably! You have excellent view form all windows and windshield.
Cons
So it's huge, which means depending on how you drive, you could be going from gas station to gas station. Gets lets than ten miles per gallon. It is not your commuter car or a daily driver. There are some parking lots or spaces you just can't fit in, and that's okay if you plan ahead. Blind spots are a bummer because you're so high up. Also, the hidden little gem you have to think about, at least in CA, is a bogus extra weight tax on your registration. Fun little $200 surprise there.

This truck has been a great vehicle for our family, we are able to fit all six members of my family, which includes two in car seats, quite well. I have had five grown men fit without any discomfort. All in all, I have been highly satisfied with the performance and handling of my truck and would definitely buy it again or recommend it to someone who is in need of a larger crew cab truck.
Story
This truck was purchased in Iowa as a work vehicle, at the time it was winter and we had quite a bit of ice. Every day on the way to work there is a steep hill that is always fun, there is no way to slow down or stop until you are on the way back up the other side. It always made for an interesting ride.
Pros
The pros are the number of seats available, the long bed, which has been very useful for hauling building supplies. The engine works very well and performance is decent. The truck has no problem doing the tasks that I need it to do, it might be a little more truck than I need, but it gets the job done.
Cons
Because of the age of the truck there are some cons, glow plugs not working properly, head gaskets that need replaced, the truck bed is needing to be welded back on. I have also had issues with the brakes, I replaced parts and still had an issue with them sticking. I have also had issues with sensors not working properly and the truck not wanting to run smoothly when it is marginally cool in the mornings.
