Pros- The truck has a smooth ride. The cabin is plenty big for 3 people up front and optimally 2 in the back seats. It can fit 3 in the back as well. The truck accelerates quickly. It has plenty of torque. The bed can fit most objects that I need to haul. It has great gas mileage for a V-8 engine. Hardly ever sees a mechanic. Cons- not many cons that I can think of for my current lifestyle.
Story
Off- road and fishing fun!
Pros
It has a nice cabin, smooth ride, enough power, and good gas mileage.
Cons
It could have more power and maybe slightly better suspension. Also, new tires are better than stock.

If you are looking for a pre-smog, powerful and dependable pick up truck, look no further than the Ford F250, particularly the 1967-72 model years. It is pure perfection. With an 8 foot bed, this pickup can handle all of your hauling needs. What's more, the massive engine compartment comfortably accommodates the Ford FE and big block engines. If you're look looking for a good return on your investment, the 360 and 390 FE engines have great numbers and are easily worked on. With almost 300K miles, my 1972 F250 just won't quit.
Story
My uncle owned a 4x4 Ford F250 in this generation, and one of my fond childhood memories was taking the truck for a hard left off a county road and crashing through an undeveloped field. There's nothing like the feeling of gliding across a empty field in a pickup, with nothing more than virgin soil below. It's a feeling you can get with almost any pickup, but the memories of the trucks of fath... (more)
Pros
If you're not familiar with the vehicles of yesteryear, the most important quality is the ease of repair and the accessibility of replacement parts! A classic pickup can be anything you want-- a dependable daily driver, a classic restoration, an immortal farm truck-- this is the age of American iron and steel.
Cons
If you are looking for creature comforts, you'll find little here. While Ford offered an air conditioning package, you'll likely need an aftermarket kit to add this feature. Forget about power anything, and be ready to jiggle the key to start your piece of American history. Finally, with plenty of modern upgrades, expect to spend a little money if you want more than an AM stereo, "3 point" shoulder seat belts, electronic ignition, or other modern comforts. The simplicity of this vehicle may put off modern owners.

I was able to negotiate the price for $200 off. I was able to test drive the car. Once I placed a $500 deposit I was able to hold the car so no one else would purchase it. The employees were helpful and knowledgeable. The process to buy the car was simple. I communicated with the dealer instead of the owner which made the process less difficult.

The salesman who worked with me was very professional and he wasn't pushy at all. It was my first time buying a car so he understood my needs as well as my budget. I managed to talk him down a couple hundred as well. Overall all the employees gave me a good sense of confidence in what they were doing, and willingly answered all my questions.
