2002 Ford F-250 Super Duty - Frequent Repair
My Ford F250 SuperDuty is one of the toughest looking and acting trucks on the road. From plowing to hauling, its 7.3L Turbo Diesel is more than enough power to compete with the rest and overtake many other trucks in its class. The truck rides like a truck, rough ride, and that is what I like about it. It has plenty of room in the cab with the SuperCab design, and holds my wife and kids well when they need to ride! For such a large truck, the gas mileage is not awful, about 8-10mpg while working, and about 14-16 highway. This truck is no turtle when you punch it...it actually has a ton of power! My only complaints with it, is that it is constantly in need of costly repair. If you have money in your wallet, and you are looking for a great truck (notice I didn't say reliable!), then this... This truck is the first truck my business had! I built my business with this F250, it will always be remembered.

2006 Ford F-250 Super Duty - Great truck, good price
My husband and I were looking for a truck that was affordable, good gas mileage, powerful, and had four doors. The truck has met our requirements and we have been very happy with it. Fords seem to last awhile and are well built.
Story
I got to drive the truck on a road trip one time. It was the first time I had driven the truck. I normally drive a small car. My husband was having fun just watching me handle it. I am a short person, so I felt really tall sitting there.
Pros
The truck was affordable, more so than Toyota or Dodge. We had a budget to stay in and we were able to buy this ford truck at a good price. It is also powerful. My husband wanted a truck that he could use for work. We have loaded up a few bags of concrete in the back with some other things and it drove great. The gas mileage is decent, not the best, but pretty good. Had four doors so easy access to the entire car. I really liked that it had power windows and locks, and cruise control.
Cons
The gas mileage is not as good as we were hoping, but still decent. I know in ford trucks that sometime after 100000 miles the EGR valve needs to be replaced. Thankfully we have not had to do that yet.
