2001 Ford F-150 - Very positive!
Bought it used with 6000 miles. It now has 206000. Very little mechanical difficulties. New alternator, tires, tie rod brake pads, etc. I changed the oil myself at 5000 mile intervals. Took the vehicle on many long trips and averaged about 20 MPG. As a landlord I have moved many tenants out so the truck has been a work horse for me. The truck had the basics air, power steering, power break, but no power windows. This was the only negative to the truck, but I knew that going in to the purchase. I would definitely buy another Ford F150 again.
Story
Took it on many long trips to visit our son in college. Came with a cab cover so we actually slept in in on several occasions when hotels were not available.
Pros
Price, ruggedness, low miles, good MPG on highway, reasonably quiet ride at first.
Cons
Some rusting in spite of being garaged for 7 years, no power door locks windows or mirrors.
