2005 Ford F-150 - Built for style not built to be driven like a truck
It's a great truck, however it's not built to be handled like a truck. I've developed a mentality that my truck is fragile because of the noises it makes and because of how often something goes wrong cosmetically on the interior.
Story
I use to go and pick up all of my friends before the football games on Friday night and everyone would ride in the bed of the truck.
Pros
I love the way it looks as far as body style goes. The 2005 F-150 has the best looking body style of all the models in my opinion. It has a full look and it doesn't look wimpy.
Cons
It squeaks and shakes all the time. When I treat it like a truck it responds like a Honda Civic. They don't hold up after 10 years. These trucks aren't made to consistently drive on rough terrain.
2003 Ford F-150 - Light duty pickup truck.
Good truck. Well designed with plenty of room in cab. Plenty of power in the 4.2-liter V6 that makes 202 horsepower with a four-speed automatic transmissions.
Story
We rode in the Christmas Parade it is red so decked it out with some greenery and fit 15 people on the back.
Pros
Stylish truck with a nice red paint job. Remote keyless entry. Seats 6 with plenty of head and leg room (not sitting on top of each other). Lumbar support on the driver’s side (bad back and helps for longer drives). Decent gas mileage for nice size truck
Can haul heavy stuff without bogging down the truck.
Cons
Light color seats and dash easy getting dirty.
