2000 Ford F-150 - Reliable and comfortable.
Great truck for towing and hauling. it is low maintenance when it needs to be fixed. the cargo capacity is also great. It holds all my kids and I can fit luggage in the front too. Very smooth power range and shifting. It was built very well its been in two accidents and is still running strong with over 200,000 miles on it. Its appearance is typical of its competition. This truck has never failed me. I love the looks of the truck too. It rides smooth. great versatile truck. It is difficult to know where to park it. the power steering needs to be replaced currently so I'm dealing with that.
Story
It was the first truck my husband and I bought together and we bought it in Jackson MS at a used dealership before we were married. We still enjoy it to this day.
Pros
Great styling, great on the highway, great pulling boats, great ride and overall comfort.
Cons
Mileage around town is 10mpg and that is costing me a lot more than I can afford. The power steering pump went out for the second time. Hard to drive.
2005 Ford F-150 - I love my Ford F-150
My Ford F-150 extra long bed truck is awesome. We paid cash for it, and bought it in 2005. The long bed on it allows us to do many things. These things can include hauling stuff around taking things for my grandchildren. Also, it holds our stuff if we go camping. One of the great aspects of my Ford F-150 is has an extended cab. I am able to fit most of my grandchildren at one time.
Story
One of my favorite memories is in this truck was the first day we bought it. I was able to fit all my grandchildren and at one time and not have to use two vehicles to go somewhere.
Pros
It has an extended cab. It is a long bed truck. We can haul many things. The back seat is big enough that we can get in and out easily. I have three in car seats. We are able to put the car seats in the back seat with no problem.
Cons
There is one main negative with my Ford F-150. The gas mileage is terrible. We have nicknamed our truck Miss Piggy.
