Overall, I am happy with my 2002 Ford F150 truck. It is the 4 door model and has plenty of room inside. The engine is a 4.6L and has plenty of power and seems to do decent on gas mileage. It is a lot better on the highway than just riding around town. I like the fact that the truck has disc brakes all around, it makes it so much easier to change. I would say that I would recommend this truck to anyone who is looking to buy a pickup.
Story
It was fun having a 4wd this winter because of the snows here in SW VA. My friends had a good time with me in my truck.
Pros
This truck has a lot of room. It has a full back seat that makes it so much more comfortable if I have to park on the side of the road to sleep. It is four wheel drive, that means that when going off road, camping, fishing, or whatever, I don't have any trouble getting there. I love the fact that this truck can hold 6 or 7 people with ease. It makes it so much easier to fill up with girls.
Cons
The Ford doesn't get great mileage around town. Also, maintenance is a little pricey too. It cost a pretty penny when its time to buy tires for the truck. Especially if I have to buy all four. Another thing I don't like is the automatic hubs. It would be so much better if it had manual hubs on the front of the truck. This would also help to save on gas. The oil filter is hard to get to also.

These trucks are very well built and require little maintenance. They allow for hauling and have a large cab just behind the drivers seat, for anyone looking to ride with you. The truck bed has a lining and came included with the truck, There was not an extra charge for the bed liner. As of today the truck is more than 10 years old and is needing some repairs, however, given the way the truck was manufactured, pats are still easy to find and the way the truck is built it makes it easy to work on. A simple YouTube video or a Google search makes working on these older cards much easier than most newer models. I would likely buy a Ford F150 again, and pass the one I own now to a relative. Story
I flipped the truck going up a hill one day, it rolled over on its side, and I was able to roll the truck back over and it ran just fine.
Pros
I purchased a Ford150, the ford motor company is one of the best in the world, and has contracts for civilian and government. The storage area is very large almost enough to hold a gallon of milk, if you take out the CD changer. There aren't a lot of buttons and gadgets to get lost in, and most of the damage has been structural. Not with the engine. In Houston, most of the population has a truck, a ford to be exact, which is why I would rely on it more than any other vehicle. Easier to work on. Cons
Some of the issues that I have had with my Ford150 were actually cosmetic. This was my first truck, so sitting up high was new for me, and it took some getting used to the gas and brake pressure. The side doors have stopped working however I found some instructions to fix them myself. Sometimes my daughter would spill soda, and it was difficult to clean in between the seats. Most of the time I could not get the crumbs and dirt or dog hair from the narrow spaces in the truck.
