About 6 months ago I purchased a 1996 Ford F-150 Eddie Bauer edition from a friend. The truck is green with tan trim and has sideswipe damage on the passenger side. Let me tell you, I LOVE this truck! It has been one of my absolute favorite vehicles. Sure, it guzzles gasoline - but I live close to work and use the truck more for utility purposes. One con - all of your friends will expect you to help them move. As a musician, I find that I can always carry all of the gear that I need to get to the gig prepared.
Story
I took it to a quarry and watched an amazing meteor shower from the truck bed with my special someone. It was a memorable night.
Pros
It has a huge carrying capacity. The engine is powerful and strong.
Cons
The truck guzzles gasoline to the tune of about 12 miles to the gallon. The body damage could be a con for some... However, I like it.

Living in the country we needed a good, reliable truck to haul wood. One we could get in and out of the woods. We purchased our truck used four years ago and couldn't be happier with our choice. Even though the truck is older it has held up well over the years. The rear window is one solid piece, so there is no way to open it or encounter leaks. The interior has held up well with only a small crack in the dash on the passenger side. The radio works well as does the dash instruments, air conditioning and heat all work amazingly. The truck rides smoothly on paved roads and in the woods. There is some creaking in the frame when maneuvering in the woods but that comes from the age of the truck. All in all this truck has passed the test of time and has required little maintenance over the y... (more)
Story
One winter we just had gotten several inches of snow. We were coming home from a friends house and found the several inches of snow to be more fun than an issue. We took advantage of the empty country roads, doing doughnuts and drifting. It was one of the funniest winter rides home we have ever had and we did it on purpose.
Pros
The pros for this vehicle are the full, cloth bench seat that seats three adults comfortably. The center seat, backrest pulls down, (when seat isn't being used) and provides additional storage and two cup holders. To access the four wheel drive is as simple as pushing the button on the dash, which is nice so we don't have to get out and lock the hubs. The cab is roomy with modest storage space behind the bench seat.
Cons
The cons for this truck is that the body rust is extensive around the lower part of the body. The rear window is one piece and would of been nice to have a sliding window, which allows access to the bed of the truck. The other con we have about this truck is that it can be rather costly to fill the gas tank as it consumes a lot. It really isn't a gas saver.
