The Ford Explorer has been a decent purchase, and the third row was a nice feature for us. The back seats all fold down to give a very large area to place large objects. The power isn't great for a 6-cylinder car, but the fuel mileage is pretty good. There have been a couple small component failures that seem common to this model relating to the A/C and heat.
Story
It's been great in our mountainous area and was fun to take skiing. We have also used the vehicle to load up with building supplies from Lowe's that will mostly fit inside with the seats down, but not a 4x8 sheet.
Pros
Spacious, AWD model is great in the snow, and Ford touchscreen is top notch.
Cons
A little wider than I expected, doesn't fit well in garage.
