My Explorer has been—without exception—an excellent truck. Not only has it carried me though my college career, it continued to serve me well with my business travels. Despite having over 250,000 miles, it continues to get me from point A to point B and has required relatively little maintenance to accomplish this. Passes smog without issue, even with all the miles. I would buy it again without regrets.
Story
My Explorer has been a fun vehicle. From going on camping trips to exploring desert tails, I've had a lot of great adventures in this truck, way to many to list here.
Pros
While my Explorer doesn't have all the fancy features of the higher-trim packages, it has all the basics you would expect: power door locks, power windows, CD player, anti-lock brakes, power locks, dual airbags. My particular Explorer has the OHV (overhead valve). Apparently, it is considered one of the most dependable motors Ford ever produced, and given its performance for me, I would be inclined to agree. It just won't quit, without any major repairs. It has served me well for over a decade.
Cons
Personally, a major cons of this truck for me has been the inability to carry larger objects (full-size ladders overload the roof rack and typical 2x4 lumber doesn't fit correctly within the vehicle). The glass 'door' on the rear hatch. The hinges are horrible. Lastly towing, the stock bumper cant handle the weight, and even with a proper hitch, the truck doesn't like towing a trailer. With the six-cylinder engine, it's a struggle to even tow a mid-sized trailer.

I love this vehicle. It's always taken me where I have to go, no problem. It's great on gas. I've had the same paint job for 23 years. I'm very satisfied. Changed the fluids only when needed, which wasn't very often. I've moved lots of furniture in the bed of truck. I've traveled many miles, and it never once over heated. I would highly recommended this truck. It's very dependable. It also comes with king cab. Two seats in back.
Story
Took a few friends with me one weekend, loaded up the truck with camping gear, and took off to the mountains. We had a great time.
Pros
Two seats in cab. Great on gas. Hardly needs fluid changed.

my dad bought from there . my dad always bought fords. i always buy fords because of my dad. my dads good friend worked there. if your car breaks or needs a checkup you get a card in the mail saying what needs done and you take it right to the same place no problem
