the ford explorer has been a very good vehicle for my wife and family, it never fails us at all. We have no issues with this vehicle other than the normal maintenance that comes with a vehicle. this ford explorer has been my wife's most favorite vehicle since we have been together, " and that is almost 30 years " -
Pros
the best feature is reliability , interior comfort is great as well, all of the controls are in easy reach when I need to change or adjust something. the only thing I have needed to change or fix were the brake pads and the battery since we have had it. Gas mileage is acceptable as well, the backup beep feature helps as well to not hit or bump something as it has helped me out from hitting small poles I could not see . the rear air conditioning vents, cup holders, and electrical charge point help as well to power the tablets and pc to help keep the kids busy while on the road
Cons
I would say the very top con on this vehicle is that when on ice or snow, and mud for that matter, the traction is terrible and the vehicle will get stuck. I have had this happen to me two to three times, once when the snow was deep, and another when there was slightly anything. I would recommend not driving this vehicle on any type of slippery situation
