I really like the size and capacity of the Ford Explorer. It handles well and did really great on our cross-country road trip. The problem was that once things started going bad, it all went bad at the same time.
Story
We were going to Cedar Point, and we were able to lay the back seat down and set up a picnic in the parking lot and saved a lot of money doing so!
Pros
The space inside was great. It has leather seats, which make for easy cleaning. It handled well when driving and was a very comfortable ride.
Cons
The water pump broke, the radiator broke, and the engine seized. We did proper maintenance, but nothing stopped the eventual self destruct.

A great seven-passenger vehicle for a young family. The Ford Explorer is an attractive ride. It's sporty yet fits our large family of six with a fair amount of room in the trunk, even with all of the seats being used. The back seats easily fold down to fit all of your groceries. It drives easily, more like a car than a large SUV. It gets pretty good gas mileage. The back-up camera is amazing. I don't know how anyone drives without one! We love our Ford Explorer!

Driving it off-road while camping. Taking it on road trips with our family.
Pros
Beautiful leather interior. The third-row seats easily fold down. Great back-up camera. Cheap to fuel up! Sporty.
Cons
Narrow middle row. You cannot fit three car seats or threes adults/larger children in it easily.

The sales associates are very friendly. There was no pressure and they let me browse. There is free coffee. It has a very pleasant atmosphere. Thomas was very helpful.
