I love this vehicle. It has been one of the best investments I have ever made, and I love everything about the car. I am very attached to this car and will be sad to give it up one day. When buying used, you have to remember that there will be hiccups along the way, but that a good car is worth fixing.
Story
One of the most fun memories I have of the car is when I first bought it. The feeling of knowing it was mine and that I could now go wherever I wanted was amazing.
Pros
My favorite things about this car are the fact that it's so sleek cosmetically and performance wise. This car is fast, and it's almost shocking to be able to have a car perform this well at such an old age. I love the fact that I paid so little for it, but that it has lasted nearly 4 years. I will never buy a brand-new car if I can get a used one that holds up as well as mine does.
Cons
The only things that were truly negative about this vehicle was that I had to have a few major things replaced as well as other general maintenance that needed to be taken care of. When I first but the car, someone had put leak seal in the radiator, so that was a mess to clean, but other than that, I am very happy with the car.

This Ford Explorer is not only a long-lasting vehicle, it was also a stylish and roomy vehicle for me as well. This car lasted me for 15 years and the only thing I ever had to do to it was change the oil and the brakes. I think this car has a great style that worked in the world for 15 years. I don't believe I ever had any issues with my car that would have prevented me from driving it. As far as fuel economy, this car was a bit of a gas guzzler. Usually it would cost me anywhere from $45-$60 to fill up the tank depending on gas prices. This car was very practical for me as a teenager because I was an athlete with tons of equipment to haul around. It was also practical for me as a Recreation Supervisor as I still have tons of equipment to haul around for my students. I loved this car!
Story
One day, a bunch of my friends and I decided to go out and use my car to jump a bridge. We all piled in (the car holds 5 and there were about 8 of us) and we went to the bridge. I revved the engine and hit the bridge going about 55 mph. We flew over the bridge and landed safely on the other side. It felt like we were really flying.

They did not mess with me when I looked at the cars. They let me browse without having a shark come out and breathe down my neck. It was really great because I was able to look and discuss without worrying what I was saying or having someone try and persuade me.
