The vehicle was purchased as the second family car. We needed a bigger car for the entire family and extended which was a total of 8 people. It was big and did fit us all. The performance was okay, but it was horrible on gas. Also, we had to get it serviced A LOT. I think it became more expensive than it was worth. It handled poorly on the freeway with quick turns.
Story
Good family vacations and road trips. No problem with storage on these trips. Good for big grocery shopping.
Pros
Roomy, big. Good stereo system. Good on dirt roads.
Cons
Bad on gas. Horrible on fast turns. Getting in and out was a pain in the butt.

I like the size of the vehicle. It's like a midsize truck, built on the Ford Ranger chassis. It's a good run around car. And although it's 2WD, it's good for dirt roads and mild exploring. I am able to sleep comfortably in the back and still have room for my gear. The suspension is cushy and the cab area/dashboard is ergonomic. I can easily tow a small trailer. I get approx 19mpg, which I feel is not too bad for a car of this age and size.
Story
This April I was able to haul 4 Girl Scouts, 5 full backpacks and all of our mountaineering gear across the desert to camp 100 miles away. Zooming down the dirt road into camp we blasted Fleetwood Mac on the stereo.
Pros
Aesthetically pleasing to look at. Good size for hauling gear, and kids can sleep in it. Not too big for a woman to drive. Can tow a trailer.
Cons
It's pretty much useless in the snow, sand, or mud. There is no posi-traction or locking differential so the car is basically one-wheel-drive when things get dicey. It also did not come with wheel camber adjustment in the front, so I often have trouble with wheel alignment.

I knew people that worked there. They said good things about it. The rest of the staff was helpful. It was close to where I work. They had fair prices.
