I own a black Limited Edition 2013 Ford Explorer. It was purchased at a CarMax in Tennessee and driven back to my home state, Georgia. What I like most about the Explorer is the technology components that are built in. Not only does it have GPS, Sirius, and other standard radio/CD capabilities, but I can also attach a SD card or USB to hear songs from my iPhone. I have the option to set my seats to three different preferences, and I have a full dashboard that displays the front and rear climates, music, and navigation.
Story
My family enjoys taking long rapist rips now because my boys can watch DVDs in the back seat and they can control their own temperatures from the rear seating!
Pros
The most exciting thing about my Ford Explorer is that it has two TV's in the headrest! This is part of the limited edition model. It comes with wireless headphones and remote controls. The TV's can play DVDs or can be set up for video games. This is perfect for my two young boys!
Cons
The most disappointing feature of the car is what I like about the car - the high tech feel. The problem comes when one aspect of the technology is not functioning, everything that is technology enabled shuts down. This has happened to me twice while driving.

I purchased the 2002 Ford Explorer used about a year ago it has been very reliable in addition to being very comfortable to drive. The truck has plenty of power and tows well in addition to handling well on the road. My explorer has the Limited package which has many nice and useful features that all work well including the leather seating, sun roof and steering wheel climate and radio controls. My favorite feature that I now couldn't live with out is the keyless entry. I would totally recommend this truck to a friend and have I have a few friends that have purchased similar trucks in varying years.
Story
This vehicle handles very well in high winds of the monsoon season I love driving during the storm while looking out the sun roof.
Pros
Towing capacity reliability looks keyless entry comfort it's a good size plenty of room but not too big it handles well
Cons
Gas mileage could be better does seem to be prone to rear wheel bearing issues back panel on rear glass has a tendency to crack
