I like the size and color of the vehicle. The view over the dash board is clear and is broad enough for great viewing in the lanes on either side. The vehicle rides smoothly. It does not have the bicycle wheel with the thin tires which I do not like. The back=up feature is something I have to get used to.
Story
The power of acceleration in the car.
Pros
One of my favorite features is the attachment of the telephone to the car system. Another favorite is the CD system for playing my books on tape from the library. The features of the dashboard are so visible and easily gotten to and do not distract from driving. The car reminds you when you need top think about getting gas. The first notification is at 50 miles before empty.
Cons
I am still getting used to the with of the car. I have had the car two months and I still manage to get the wheels upon the curb when turning into a shopping area, or need to get into a parking space near a curb. I am not sure about the mileage on the car. I do not do long haul driving to and from work.

My family loved our Ford Explorer. The quality and reliability of this vehicle were exceptional! So much so that three different members of our family drove it for extended periods of time. It was the first vehicle two of my sons learned to drive. The overall handling and safety of the Explorer fully meet this mother's approval. We were never down a vehicle due to performance issues either. With only regular upkeep, it lasted as a very useful part of our family for well over ten years. It was five years old when we bought it!
Story
We lived in a rural area when we owned the Explorer. One afternoon while picking the kids up from school, a larger, baby pig escaped from the AG classroom, and we took it back to its momma in the back of the Explorer.
Pros
The overall appearance of the Explorer was stylish at the time. The leather interior was durable enough to withstand teenagers and grandchildren. There was always plenty of room for everything. It was used for hauling everything. The electric components were never an issue, except the occasional fuse replacement.
Cons
I can't think of any cons of this vehicle at all.
