1996 Ford Explorer - Excellent car with few problems
I think the Ford Explorer is one of the best vehicles I have ever owned. I have had very few problems out of it in all of these years. With a lot of cars (little) problems happen, but not with this one. If something goes wrong it is a big fix but all in all it takes a long time for something to happen to fix it. It is a smooth ride, good on gas, has lots of space and has a lot of safety features that I like.
Story
We used it to pull our boat to the lake every weekend.
Pros
Comfortable, Sunroof, Spacious, smooth riding, cheap parts, good on gas, easy to work on, and has a nice look.
Cons
Tires start to squeak after some time, transmission shifts roughly after about 200,000 miles.
2002 Ford Explorer - It was a waste of money.
Drink up gas, transmission stop working, brakes was kept needing repair, needed tires every year, needed new alternator, spot plugs. Air conditioning stop working after a week after purchase.
Story
It how I met all my ex boyfriends, its the first vehicle I ever owned. Its where I met my husband. My first responsibility, something I was real proud of. Its was like my second home away from home.
Pros
I liked the color of the vehicle, very spacious, perfect for driving on vacation. Trunk big enough for all my family luggage, and other things that needed to be transported. It drives really good.
Cons
Needed too much maintenance. Drinks up gas.

The staff members were all friendly. The salespeople were not pushy. I was able to get the vehicle I needed at a reasonable price that I could afford.
