2002 Ford Explorer - Satisfied with this vehicle overall
I have a 2002 Ford Explorer. I love that it has a 3rd row seat. It makes it easy for comfortable travel with my family. I also love the option of 4x4 in the winter time. I have complete control depending on how the roads are. I do wish it would have bucket seats in the back seat (2nd row), so that it was easier to get to the 3rd row. And, I wish it would get a little bit better gas mileage.
Story
The hood is different than most and people tell me they look like nostrils.
Pros
I like all the seating and comfort of this vehicle without being to large a vehicle. And that I can switch it to 4x4 whenever I feel the need.
Cons
Hard to get to the 3rd row. I wish that the gas mileage was better. Also , I wish it had better cup holders and storage.
2014 Ford Explorer -
I love the comfort of this vehicle. The soft, leather seats are perfect. The gas mileage was a pleasant surprise, I average 22mpg.
Story
We frequently argue with the gps voice, and it seems to randomly suggest we pull over for coffee on long trips, I think it's referring to staying in your lane but I'm not sure.
Pros
The heated seats are great in winter, The remote start is a life saver. I love the ability to sync my phone. The color is great, it changes in all lighting.
Cons
The vehicle is a little pricey and I wish I could have gotten heated seats that were also not leather.
