I love the reliability of the explorer It has a nice clean and classy look to it I received a great price for the car the Ford dealership was friendly and knowledgeable This is my second explorer and I plan to buy another one It comes with XM radio which is a big plus The warranty on the car was very good The touch screen gives it a boost in the technology rating category I love the blue touch synced into my vehicle The gas mileage is ok compared to other SUV's but it could be better The health report that is emailed to me allows me to be fully aware of my cars maintenance requirements

Overall, the Explorer performs well. It has done well for us.
Story
My wife does antique shows. We recently did one and thought we would have to take two vehicles, but she ingeniously packed a show tent, three folding tables, two folding chairs, her inventory for the show, two floor lamps, a mahogany table and a folding dolly.
Pros
The control layout is good and within easy reach. The features are nice, including heated seats. The gas mileage for an SUV is great at 18.9.
Cons
The suspension is much too stiff. The only thing that could stand improving on is the location of the four-wheel drive option. It is right above the heat controls. If you are not careful, you will happen to accidentally hit four-wheel drive and not realize it. The body connection on the front end does seem to drop loose sometimes.
