We purchased our vehicle about a year ago, and we could not be happier with it. It really has all of the features we were looking for in a car and has exceeded most of our expectations. We wanted something that our family could grow into as we continue to expand, and it's definitely worked for our household.
Story
We took our vehicle to pull home our very first camper with the kids! They were so excited to not only see the new camper but have our new vehicle pulling it. It was fun to see the expression on their faces and think about all of the memories we are going to be making in the car and the camper in the following years.
Pros
The servicing of the vehicle has been pretty cost efficient. We have had a few minor things that have needed fixing or updating, and the factory has been very accommodating to us and our car. We wanted something that would provide our family the safety and durability that we need with our family, and this definitely does just that. We wanted something our children would not feel squished in, and this allows plenty of space for us and our dog.
Cons
The one main negative so far that we have found is that the space between the back of the driver and passenger seats and the middle row is sometimes not quite big enough for our car seats. We can make it work by putting the front seats ahead some, but that does make it difficult for my husband to drive comfortably.

This vehicle offers the whole package! It is extremely comfortable and spacious both inside and out. It is sleek, and equipped with black carpet and black leather. The dash features an entirely touch screen panel. It has a navigation system and rear-back up camera. The side mirrors cover the blind spot of the explorer, making it extremely easy to drive on the highway. Optional third row seating folds down flat so you have extra cargo room when you need it most.
Story
Right after we purchased our Explorer, we took a road trip to the Zoo about 3 hours away. We got to experience city driving, highway driving, and even driving in rush hour. The vehicle held up to our expectations.
Pros
The space! Plenty of room all around. Extremely comfortable. The mirrors have blind spot coverage.
Cons
The third row seating only has 2 seats, instead of the typical 3. This means the vehicle comfortably fits 7, instead of the 8 we were hoping for. The touchscreen can be faulty and is expensive to have repaired or replaced. Luckily ours was replaced when we bought it so we didn't have to pay out of pocket. The buttons on the touchscreen are positioned so that it is too easy to accidentally hit the emergency flashers or the eject button on the CD player.
