2012 Ford Explorer - Not the best but not the worst
It is a decently priced midsize SUV. It can hold all of my children when the third-row seat is up and is very spacious in the back when the third-row seats are folded. It looks nice, has an easily accessible roof rack. It tows well. I have hooked up several different kinds of trailers, and it pulls just fine. I wish the pedals moved for better adjustment. The way the seat and the pedals align makes my legs and hips hurt. The cup holders are okay, and there are plenty of jacks to plug in mobile devices. The gas mileage could be better it doesn't get what it says it should. I have had to put a good bit of work into it. For instance, the water pump broke, and even though the part was very cheap, it cost a fortune to replace because of where it was positioned in the car and took a lot of l... (more)
Story
We use it for trips to Disney World. It holds all of our gear and extra people that we take with us.
Pros
I like the way it looks. It's a midsize SUV, so it fits my family with the third-row seat. It's not overly expensive.
Cons
The pedals do not move, and they are in an incredibly uncomfortable position in relation to the seat. The back seat belts are designed, so it's harder to install car seats. I wish it had better gas mileage. It doesn't have enough radio controls on the steering wheel, and it doesn't have a digital speedometer.
2012 Ford Explorer - Not for moms.
I like that it is a mid size SUV that is not too costly. I dislike the comfort of the drivers seat, the pedals do not move and it makes it very uncomfortable for your legs and back while driving. The gas mileage is just OK I would expect about the same on any SUV. The seatbelts in the back seat aren't suited for car seats, yes it has the latch system, but I am old school and feel like I get a snugger car seat with the seat belt system. This car has soft nylon seat belt buckles as opposed to the firm are plastic buckle that has no give. It has many problems, I have had to replace numerous things some of which were overly expensive because of the design of the car. There are little things that are missing like the digital readout of your speed (its so much easier to read that way), also ... (more)
Story
We get a lot of rain here in Florida so it's fun to go riding in the mud. I have pulled several trailers full of stuff for family vacations back and forth to Maryland and it did just fine.
Pros
Price, size, how many people it holds.
Cons
Non-moving pedals, cost of repairs, seat belts.

2013 Ford Escape - Gus Machado Ford Of Kendall Miami
Quick Lane does not exists here. I called to see the wait time, no one answered and the mailbox was full. I still stopped by with hopes my phone timing was off. NOPE this place is a joke. Guy informed me (In a rude manner) that it would be about 2 hours and I can come back after 6pm.
2009 Ford Escape Hybrid - Sandy Sansing Inc Pensacola
The staff was knowledgeable, treated my entire family with respect. They also went out of their way to make sure that the car buying experience was enjoyable to the point that 4 years later I am considering traveling back to FL to purchase a car from them again, despite the fact I now reside in VA.
