I love my Expedition. I use it to haul my custom camper. The Expedition handles like a dream, I often tell people it feels like piloting a hot tub! It's roomy, yet cozy.
Story
The first night I got my new (to me) Expedition, I was so excited, I slept in it! Just folded the seats down, put down a ground pad, and slept soundly. I love it.
Pros
Layout of controls is simple and ergonomic, even at my height of 5'7. It's a big vehicle but not too big. Leather seats have held up very well for being 15+ years old. 4 wheel drive holds onto the road in all conditions. Plenty of interior room for all my camping equipment and a couple of friends (if they're lucky). It's a Ford, so parts are easy to find and repairs are reasonable. I love the sunroof. Not every Expedition has one, but it's a great feature if you can find it.
Cons
It's a gas guzzler but really, for it's size, it's still pretty good. Full tank, 18ish gallons = 400 miles. Some rust around doors and wheel wells. Rocks in the wind, but it's a tall vehicle so that's not unexpected. Can be unsettling though.

The Expedition comes out ahead of its competition in comfortably seating a full load of passengers presumably a key selling point for vehicles this huge. I found the Expedition's seats to be among the most comfortable to sit in and the easiest to fold down both a pleasant contrast to, say, the cramped. Another prime attraction of traditional SUVs is towing ability, and the Expedition does well here. All safety equipment is standard in the Ford Expedition, including antilock disc brakes with brake assist and a rollover-sensing stability control system. The Expedition's cabin has up-to-date electronics and a generally modern feel, though there are quite a few small, cheap-feeling buttons that are hard to tell apart at a glance.
Story
I drove to Chicago to vista family and the car drove all round good.
Pros
Driving the Ford Expedition is very impressive because of its handling. Style of the car is very awesome.
Cons
It does take a ton of gas. Also is very big soaring becomes a hassle.
