I love my Expedition EL for every aspect of it. The interior is very roomy, with lots of head and leg space. Being a mom of four, we use all three rows of seat, and my kids in the very back row are still very comfortable. Ford did not sacrifice any comfort or expense on any of the seats or legroom. There are more than enough cup holders, at least one per person, even more in the front. The cargo area is large enough for us to put all of our groceries or luggage in, even with the third row in use. The exterior is quality as well. The painted areas have held up well. I have not had to do any major repairs, just the expected tires, oil, wipers, and just recently taillight bulbs. There are very few things that I would change about my car. One being the silver/chrome around the air vents. I... (more)
Story
While visiting Colorado, we decided to drive over and see a waterfall that was close to the sand dunes that we had just visited. There was no indication that the road leading to the falls was going to be as rough and bumpy as it was, but we had committed to going to see it, so we didn't turn around. We had family sitting in seven of the eight seats, so people in all three rows of seats. My Exp... (more)
Pros
I love the longevity of the vehicle. I love the overall space in all three rows of seating. And the comfort of all three rows of seats is rare to find in most other cars of this size.
Cons
The gas mileage isn't my favorite, but to be expected I guess. And I really dislike the chrome around the air vents that reflect the sun straight in my eyes.

I love my Ford Expedition. I had previously owed a Ford Explorer and was looking for a larger vehicle when I purchased this one. I was nervous about getting such a large vehicle, but I was pleasantly surprised about the way it drove. I struggle to drive my husbands pickup truck but not the Expedition. I feel like I am driving a luxury car with the added bonus of tons of space. The Expedition has plenty of power ports and cup holders for everyone's drinks and charging their games or cell phones. My son plays travel baseball so I always feel like I am taking everything in my house for a weekend of baseball, but this vehicle holds it all and still has room so no one feels that they are sitting on top of each other. My vehicle now has over 100,000 and I have had absolutely no problems mech... (more)
Story
My favorite memory of taking my car out was on Black Friday a couple years ago. There were four of us that left about 6pm to go Christmas shopping. While we had fun shopping and bonding, it was clear by 4am that it was a good thing we took my Expedition as opposed to my friend Tahoe because the four of us and filled the back of the car almost completely up with shopping packages, and that was ... Pros
The things I love most about my Expedition are the Microsoft Sync system, adjustable pedals, folding third row and the middle of the second row moves forward toward the front of the vehicle. I have many songs on my IPhone and it is so easy to play my music using Bluetooth through the car's sound system or answer the telephone with out having to pickup the phone thanks to the Microsoft Sync system. I am short so having adjustable pedals was one of the key selling points for me. This feature allows me to move the gas and brake pedals towards me without having to be sitting on top of the stee... Cons
The only negative thing I can say about my car is that I wish the side mirrors were electro chromatic like the rear view mirror. When cars get behind me at night sometime the side view mirrors tend to reflect the light into my face making it hard to see.

The Ford Expedition is a one in a life time experience personally. The on-road performance makes it the best when driving on rough road surfaces. The fuel consumption is quiet okay. The internal component is a comfort to behold. The electrical component is also filled with enjoyable sophistication.
Story
I once used the Ford Expedition to pull a truck. It pulled it effortlessly. It was really awesome.
Pros
The fuel consumption is awesome. It doesn't consume much fuel compared to other SUVs.
Cons
Due to its height above the ground, it tends to lose balance once the speed exceeds 80 mph. This makes it not to suitable for speed driving.
