My wife and I have really enjoyed the 2013 Ford Escape. We originally bought it after her old base model Toyota Yaris met its end from hitting a deer at about 70 miles an hour. Since my wife had never had a nice car, we splurged and got the Titanium model of Escape. And it has been a great car. The amenities that come along with that package are awesome and worth every penny. The engine is way faster than I would have expected. It has a turbo. It has been a very reliable car. They only thing we have ever had to do to it is add gas and oil and one set of tires. We bought it in 2015, and it is still a daily driver.
Story
I've used this thing to do everything. I even used it to haul about 20 2x6s that were twelve-feet long!
Pros
This is a great family car. That is at home on just a daily work commute or a trip to visit distant relatives. Decent gas mileage - averaging around 24 mpg. Easy on tires, brakes and other consumables. Nothing major has broken on it. It has dual zone heating and cooling. Heated seats and remote start. We have been very happy with car.
Cons
It is a bit cramped for long trips (eight hours to visit the parents) when we have an infant and a big dog. A couple of plastic interior pieces broke off that covered the rear seat mounts. Replacing head light or tail light bulbs takes an act of congress.

2014 Ford Escape - Reliable and affordable.

I own a black 2014 Ford Escape that I have had for about a year. It is, by far, one of the most comfortable and affordable cars that I have owned. I would recommend anyone looking for an economical family option to consider this car.
Story
We went on a family camping trip. Normally we drive our bigger SUV; but a day before we were suppose to leave, a wheel baring on it went out leaving us no other option but to drive the Escape. Needless to say by the time all of the camping stuff, us and our two kids were packed in, everyone barely had room to breathe. Luckily, we were only going camping 45 minutes away, but it was a miserable ... (more)
Pros
The Ford Escape is a stylish little SUV; and with the titanium trim level, it really is a bang for your buck. It has plenty of get up and go--not a sports car--but overall impressive for a small SUV. The seats are some of the most comfortable I've ever had--the leather is soft and hugs you as you sit. The seat warmers get HOT-- which, for me, is wonderful, and with five settings you can pick exactly your level of comfort. The A/C runs cold; and with the size, it cools and heats quick and well. The back seat is roomy enough for two adults or two car seats. The car itself is smooth driving, ... (more)
Cons
The biggest negative for me in this SUV is the trunk space. While it is okay, it is a little small to carry all that you need for a family of four. It is quite a bit smaller than the truck space in our family's comparable Mazda CX5. Gas wise it is pretty efficient; however, once again, not as efficient as the CX-5. The back seat for three adults is really cramped and unrealistic for anything other than a quick drive.

Very pleasant and helpful employees. Great service so far, truly take care of their customers. Do whatever it takes to make the deal right, no pressure. Let me test drive the car alone, trustworthy people. No shadiness during the signing process.
