We purchased this vehicle new. I drove it, my wife drove it, and now my son has driven it for the last two years. It has never broken down. The only maintenance needed has been tires, oil, and a new battery. It is the most dependable vehicle I have ever had the luck of owning. It's been wonderful for our family, for commutes, vacations, and now for our son to drive.
Story
This was the first vehicle my son ever drove, and he learned to drive in it. He loves it, and takes a great deal of pride in it. He was sad he couldn't use it for his actual driver's test.
Pros
Dependable, sturdy, comfortable, safe, economic.
Cons
Blind spots.

The Ford Escape SE 1.6L gets 23 mpg in town and 32 mpg on the highway. With the smaller engine, you might think that it lacks in power, but the Ecoboost surprises you with that zippy sport feeling that doesn't disappoint. I love the metallic silver color, which really gives the impression of driving a true machine. I have had this vehicle for about a year and use it to commute to and from work daily. I just had a routine service through my dealership, and it is in tip-top shape with 64,000 miles.
Story
I once went on a road trip with my sister. We had the windows rolled down for a particular scenic segment of our route. It was a very windy day, and my sister's hair was long enough to be rolled up in the front AND rear passenger window at the same time. Pros
I have really like the spaciousness of the interior, especially being a dog lover. With the folding back seats, there is a nice amount of loading room if there is need to haul a big dog or a big store purchase. I also really like the height of the vehicle, which allows me to have a commanding and secure perspective on my environment, while being the perfect height to be able to transport the more elderly members of my family.
Cons
I briefly mentioned the fuel efficiency before, but I generally feel that Ford missed the mark on establishing a mere 32 mpg in this vehicle. While it is a SUV, it is a small SUV, and there are comparable models on the market with more improved fuel efficiency. I also believe the seating could have been improved from what is a less substantial profile. If a person were even slightly overweight, there is a general feeling of the seating not being big enough.

They have really good customer service. I feel like I was treated as a person. I appreciate not being swindled. I know that if I go back, I will get a good deal. I like their office set up.
