2015 Ford Escape - No frills vehicle
Overall, the quality of the vehicle is fine. It's not super exciting or sexy in the least, but it's a Ford. I was desperate for a new vehicle before moving, and this fit all of my stuff with enough room for my dog. The seats are comfortable enough for long drives. The back storage area is fairly large, too large for everyday use. I don't carry much stuff, so things just seem to roll around. The one major downside are the cloth seats in the back. The seats absolutely pick up every single dog hair. I have tried to brush the hair off or roll it off, but it won't budge. I think I will have to get it professionally cleaned just because of the hair. At first, the sound system worked well with my Bluetooth, but for some reason, for the past four months or so, it will not connect to my phone. ... (more)
Story
I have driven this vehicle on nine-hour trips in one shot and been comfortable. The Bluetooth was working at the time, so it was easy to listen to different apps. It was difficult to switch between phone connections though. Overall, this is a comfortable car when having to take long trips or moving because of the space. I don't remember anything too particular. The trip was five days, and ther... (more)
Pros
Has lots of a cargo space for moving and for a dog to comfortably lay down. It drives smoothly and is comfortable. The cabin is not loud.
Cons
Bluetooth capability stops working quickly. Dog hair is stuck in seat material. Too big for everyday use.
2013 Ford Escape - Ford Escape: dependable and stylish
This SUV has been a real workhorse for me. I have only had the car for four years but have put over 100k miles on it, and I have never had any serious issues with the engine or interior. The Ford company has also been very active in alerting me of any recall, no matter how minor and remedying it quickly and without charge. Even though my car is outfitted with the standard accessories and add ons, I feel like my Escape is stylish and even luxurious.
Story
I've driven this thing all over the country and no matter what the terrain, it never lets me down. Whether in the city or the country, it always fits in.
Pros
The affordability and gas mileage for an SUV is what drew me to the car first. Also, the styling of the SUV after the redesign has held up well over the last five years.
Cons
My skid plate fell off after an oil change, but I believe it was the fault of the oil change place. Low power on window motors, so it seems to take longer to roll up the windows than in other cars I have owned.

2016 Ford Escape - Wyatt Johnson Ford Nashville
To me the amount of cars, I was able to research about was so helpful. I was able to find exactly what I wanted. I also felt the pricing was fair and that it was something I could handle on my own without financing.

Patient, they didn't rush me. Other dealers just wanted me to be in and out a quick sale, I never felt that way with them.
