I bought this car because my mother in law recommended it to me. I was originally interested because it was less than 25k brand new and highly reviewed. It is easy to drive and a cute car (although I am seeing them everywhere now). It drives smoothly and is easy to maneuver. I bought an Escape that included the nav touch screen system, which I have liked.
Story
We were at the park and it was raining. My son had more fun playing with the touch screen, steering wheel, and all of the different buttons then he probably would have had at the park!
Pros
My top pro was that it was affordable, especially for being an SUV. It is easy to drive and maneuver. It drives very smoothly and brakes easily enough. I especially like the touch screen nav system, especially for using the radio. Another cool feature is that I can access my phone though Bluetooth on the touch screen. I can answer any texts or phone calls. I can also verbally command to call someone, and my car will do that for me.
Cons
There are really only two cons. The first is that I wish the escape was larger. Now that I am a mom, I am running out of room very quickly! Although the stroller fits in the trunk, not much else does. I can easily fit a car seat, but two will be very tight when that time comes. The other con is that it is pretty popular. It doesn't have a luxurious or special feel to it.

The Ford escape is a reliable and economical small sized SUV. In the 2.5 years I've owned it, I haven't had a single issue with it. It gets okay gas mileage and drives well. I especially like how I can open my trunk with just a click of a button on my key.
Story
I'll never forget bringing my son home for the hospital. My husband drove so slowly and took the longest way home to avoid dangerous freeways. I sat in the back and just stared at my lil guy in awe the whole time. Of course, baby slept!
Pros
I like the nav system, although nowadays I prefer Google maps. I like the touch screen for navigation and music control. Mostly though, I like how my SUV is dependable.
Cons
I wish the trunk was larger. As a family of three + two dogs, we are outgrowing this car. Also, I sometimes wish I had something a little more luxurious.
