2010 Ford Escape - Best Car Purchase Of My Life
I absolutely love this car. I purchased it when I had my grandchildren. I had small cars before and no way to haul them. So now I have a big back seat that comfortably accommodates 2 car seats very well. Now I can drive them anywhere. And with the gas mileage (30 miles to the gallon) it is very affordable. It is a very smooth riding vehicle. I can lay the seats down and haul things. I have a luggage rack that will come in handy when I do get to take a road trip. I love the color (light blue). It's a 4 cylinder but has the pep of a 6 cylinder.
Story
My most memorable story would be hauling my grandchildren and having wonderful conversations with them as we are driving down the road.
Pros
My favorite features are the Bluetooth for my phone, I Love It! I also love the gas mileage it gets. It has a CD player which is great and picks up all my favorite radio stations as well. I love the size which I consider mid size. Big enough to haul things.
Cons
There were no negative things about the vehicle itself. I hated having a car payment. But I got it paid off early so now that's gone as well.
2003 Ford Escape - Reliable, Dependable, Comfortable
I've owned my 2003 Ford Explorer now for five years and it truly has been one of the best vehicles I've owned in over 30 years of driving. We purchased it in used condition from a local dealership and paid cash. I've put more than 50,000 miles on it and have never had a breakdown.
Story
AS I mentioned before, a friend of ours was riding a motorcycle our in the woods when he clotheslined himself on an airplane cable. We were able to retrieve him and get him to the road so the ambulance could take him to the hospital.
Pros
I love the power and heated seats, both driver and passenger. Heated electric side mirrors was a big plus and the cargo capacity works perfectly for me. The 4-wheel drive has been tested in every sense of the word. We even saved a friend's life by being able to get to him, injured, through a field when even the ambulance couldn't.
Cons
The top of the SUV has a large amount of rust and the paint is peeling away, although the rest of the vehicle has managed to stay intact. I'm not sure if there's a flaw in my vehicle alone, or if Escapes tend to rust out on top.
