2013 Ford Escape - Best used car I've owned.
I love all the features this car came with as well as the amazing gas mileage it gets. It is pretty roomy as well. It performs very well. I have not had any problems other that regular maintenance.
Story
This car has so many great features that you forget what it is like driving a regular car. So when I had to drive my son's car one night, I forgot to turn the headlights on and where the switch was to do it. I couldn't figure out how to use the windshield wipers because my car does it for me! Everything is automated.
Pros
Some of my favorite things about this vehicle are the back-up camera and the sensors. It also has a very cool parallel park feature that works amazingly well. My very tall sons and husband sit pretty comfortably in the vehicle compared to most. That aspect could use a little improvement though.
Cons
The worse thing I have discovered about this vehicle so far is when the check engine light came on because my coolant was below the Max line and I did not refill it immediately, the car literally, as a precaution, stops working. So I could not even drive to go get more coolant. This has happened to me twice. Once I filled it back to max line, the car continued to work normal.
2017 Ford Escape - Love it
I love my Ford Escape. It has all of the features I was looking for in a car, aside from a liftgate assist. It was a great price and has a great body style. I like how the car has more "pickup" than some others I test drove of similar engine strengths. I would definitely buy this car again.
Story
I have only had the car for less than two months. The best things that have happened so far would be driving it to my hometown to show off to family.
Pros
My absolute favorite features are the automatic start, Apple CarPlay, and heated seats. It was important to me to have these features and they all work great. I also am a big fan of the different screens to see gas mileage and trip mileage. You can also program the keys for different drivers, which I like too.
Cons
I do not like the aspect that it shuts off when you come to a complete stop. While I understand the benefit to the environment, it is bad for the starter.
