2013 Ford Escape Hybrid - Just what I wanted
The car's interior is extremely comfortable. As the driver, I feel that I am a good distance from the ground and I do not feel every bump in the road. I also appreciate that the front seats are heated, especially since I live in a cold climate area. The car gets fantastic mileage. I drive to and from work every day, about 12 miles, and I only need to fill up my car with gas once a month. The car also looks very nice and modern on the outside. I have only had to take it to the shop for repairs one time in three years so it has held up very well. There is pretty good trunk space, but it could stand to be a little roomier back there.
Story
Living in Philadelphia, you're always driving down tiny narrow streets, and this car navigates them very well!
Pros
The mileage is a big perk. I also love the heated seats and the comfortable interior. The adjustable mirrors are very convenient. I also like that there are blind spot mirrors. I feel very safe in this car. I also feel like the pickup is very good, and I don't have to push very hard on the gas peddle when I'm driving.
Cons
I think the car could have a better turn radius, especially for parking purposes. I also had the battery die once but it hasn't been a problem again so far. The car radio doesn't always function as I would like it to, especially the Bluetooth. The car also breaks fairly hard, which I got used to, but a softer breaking feature would be beneficial to the design. The seat adjustment levers in the driver's seat are not very intuitive, and I would prefer manual ones than electronic ones.
