2008 Ford Escape Hybrid - Excellent Mid-Size SUV
The Ford Escape Hybrid is an excellent vehicle to own. In the seven years that I have had it there has been very few problems. It gets great gas mileage, it handles well, everything computerized to let you know if there is an issue with the tires, oil, transmission, etc. Etc.
Story
Going to the beach for the first time in this vehicle. It is beautiful drive once you hit the coast and head north to the public beaches. Sun, surf and waves is always a memorable time.
Pros
For me the most positive thing about this vehicle is the gas mileage. I needed an SUV to carry equipment and I am also on the road a lot so getting 30-35 miles to gallon is a huge plus.
Cons
I had an issue with the hybrid battery that cost a fortune to fix and then it was later recalled. So I did get my money back, but I was surprised this issue hadn't come up before, across the country, since the car was 6 years old at the time.
2017 Ford Escape Hybrid - The build quality is really good.
I like the fact that I don't need to go to the gas stations anymore and that I truly save a lot of money now. I have driven at least 30,000 miles without maintenance issues,. I don't have to worry about fueling because of it being a hybrid, which is a big plus.
Story
Going camping and having enough room to put all the camping gear and being able to seat everyone without anyone being uncomfortable and enjoying the whole trip without have to gas up.
Pros
The pros of my Ford Escape hybrid is not having to travel to the gas station, instead I just charge it at the charge stations, which last me for a little while and then I am on my way. The trunk is a big storage area, and I can really drive for long distances in my car.
